Website & waitlist privacy
Last updated 15 October 2026
The short version
We use your email to tell you when PIA launches where you live and, only if you ask to test early, to invite you to the Android test. No ads, no trackers, no selling of data.
What we keep when you join the waitlist
- Your email address.
- Your country (guessed from your time zone; you can change it before joining).
- Your browser's language.
- The goals you pick, if any (for example fitness or study).
- Where you came from, if the link said so (for example a link from our Instagram).
- When you ticked the box agreeing to the launch email.
- Whether you asked to test early, and when (only offered where the test is open).
What we don't collect
No cookies, no analytics or advertising trackers, and no fonts, videos or scripts from other companies: everything on this site comes from our own server. Your IP address is used for a moment to stop abuse (for example, too many sign-ups from one network) and is not stored with your email. The site remembers the country you picked in your own browser only.
Why
To email you when PIA launches in your country, and to count how many people are interested in each country and goal so we know where to launch first. If you ticked “Let me test early”, we may also add your email to our Google Play test list and email you the invite; Google then knows that address as a PIA tester. We won't send you anything else, and we never share or sell your email.
Who stores it for us
Supabase (our database) and Google Cloud (our servers), both in Mumbai, India. Upstash, also in Mumbai, handles the short-lived abuse checks. If you join the Android test, Google Play holds the test list. Cloudflare, our web host, serves these pages from its global network and may keep standard request logs for a short time.
How long we keep it
Until 12 months after PIA launches in your country, or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, whichever comes first. Every launch email has an unsubscribe link.
Your choices
Email shivamkole007@gmail.com to see, correct or delete what we hold, or to leave the waitlist. We reply within 7 days. You can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India or your local data protection authority.
Age
During the beta, PIA and its waitlist are for people aged 18 and over.
The PIA app
The app has its own, longer privacy policy, covering your account, goals, health data and AI processing.
