For Class 12 students preparing for JEE Main (usually in January and April sessions) and JEE Advanced. Check the official NTA and IIT notices for dates.

Questions

How many hours should a JEE student study daily?
Around 4–6 hours of focused self-study on school days, plus coaching, is common. Quality and consistency matter more than the exact number.
Should I study NCERT for JEE?
Yes, especially for chemistry. Most inorganic and many physical chemistry questions build directly on NCERT.
When should I start JEE mock tests?
Take chapter tests from the start and full mocks once most of the syllabus is done, usually 2–3 months before JEE Main.
